It bothers me to keep hearing media talk about “self-proclaimed” president Guaidó. If Trump died and Mike Pence assumed the presidency, would they called him “self-proclaimed”? No, it’s what the constitution says should happen. Same thing applies to Guaidó.
Wait, what? I mean, I get that there's oil, but if I announce that I'm the rightful president of Venezuela, how is that any less legitimate than Guaidó?
