When Librarians Are Silenced
A librarian in Kansas City, Missouri, was recently arrested simply for standing up for a library patron’s free speech rights at a public event featuring a former US diplomat. Both the librarian and the patron face criminal charges. One hopes that the case—only the most recent of many attacks on our libraries' defense of free speech and privacy—will be resolved without further cost, trouble and damage. By Francine Prose.

"As Woolfolk rounded a pillar, several of the guards grabbed Woolfolk from behind. Woolfolk was kicked in the leg (resulting in a torn knee ligament), slammed against the pillar, and thrown into a chair. When he bounced out of the chair onto the floor, the guards forced him back into the chair, and handcuffed him."
This was done to a fucking librarian who had dared say that someone had a right to ask provoking questions at a public forum. I have to ask, where do they get police officers from? Do they carefully select sociopaths and thugs for the job?
The best part is how they're allowed to regulate themselves and have all sorts of legal protections to do whatever they want. Not to mention access to cutting-edge military weapons and broad license to use them.

Yes. They even have a test so they can make sure they get the best psychopaths available- stupid, highly suggestible ones.
