I used to go with my Dad every Christmas to put a wreath at Grand mom's grave. It was a ritual....and one year we didn't go, then another and another, and I wondered if he forgot where she was. It was his Mother after all, Grand mom. Till this day, I still don't know.
I got a call from him one morning...
"Where do you want to be buried? (I live pretty far away)...he was excited.."Hey, we got this deal. We can get a plot for me and your mom at two thousand bucks for two people, but, for 500 bucks more we can get a plot for 6. Whadaya think?
Can I finish my coffee before I answer dad?
"Yeah, yeah sure."
