I don't think this was a strange case so much as a sad case. Sad for DJ, sad for Anna's children and ex-husband, sad for DJ's family. Anna Stubblefield acted very unethically, regardless of whether or not facilitated communication is legitimate. She used her position to take advantage of a vulnerable person and doesn't even seem to recognize that she did so.
