The real issue is NOT that homeowners are scared of not receiving benefits for feeding power back into the grid.
The real issue is that utility companies are scared of people deciding that they don't need to be tied into the grid anymore. Because of this, I've seen a few articles pop up about how battery banks can make it so that you don't get all the same benefits (tax, profit) as you would with only solar. I think Big Power is getting nervous about becoming a dinosaur.
Absolutely so. Still, it is nice when we get fresh ideas in our smokescreens. I was getting so tired of the same old solar-power-will-raise-electricity-rates-on-the-poor shtick.
