This really needs to get fixed. I don't understand why people feel the need to put these shops out of business.

I'm just gonna say this right now: If you don't support at least the decriminalization of drugs, then you directly support the Mexican cartels and El Chapo Guzman. You directly support the needless violence going on in Mexico, support the countless deaths and disappearances of people. You directly support keeping millions and millions of people afraid to live their lives by having Americans fund terrorist drug organizations that constantly seek to gain even more power. These cartels have the ability to manufacture not only their drugs, but also weapons and even SUBMARINES.

These cartels are obviously powerful, and it's due to the mountain of money they get, principally from selling their drugs in the USA. When cartels/anti-government organizations are able to blockade the highways and shoot down military helicopters, then it's time to change strategies. The only way to stop them is to cut them off from their money. And the only way you do that is to decriminalize/legalize ALL drugs. Regulate it like one would regulate alcohol. How do these politicians not realize how the Mafia was formed, and how powerful they were? Even long after the 21st amendment, the Mafia took a commanding presence, and the cartels are on a whole other level compared to the Mafia from back in the day. The Cartels are a global presence, having infiltrated cities in Europe, Australia, and Asia. People should be much more afraid of the Sinaloa Cartel than of ISIS.

I know many people see this as a states rights issue - and it is - but there also also much, much, greater consequences of not allowing people to buy their drugs in a safe and regulated environment.

Sorry if this comes off as a little hostile to some, but as a Mexican-American, it kills me to hear stories like this. To know that the alternative is giving money to cartels, so that they can kill more of my people, and keep them living in fear. I don't want people to think of drugs and violence when they think of Mexico. I only want people thinking and seeing Mexico for it's natural beauty, wonderful food and unique culture.
