    "I don't even believe you when you say that."

    Ya know, I don't care what you choose to believe.

    Your personal vendetta/fixation and projection simply shadow your every comment.

      It's all bullshit, you say. Racism against black folks in U.S. history. Gains made against that racism. The backlash now against those gains. Tell me, when did you first realize there'd never been racism? Nor progress over it, nor the resurgent racism underneath Trumpism now?

      That the struggle against bigotry in American history is a Big Lie, as you explicitly say here? It's all bullshit? I don't believe even you believe that. Occam's razor applies.

      What makes more sense, more simply, more easily, is that this comment is yet more of your sneering contempt for people that're different than you. Maybe you're not even consciously siding with racists against black folks, while you explicitly side with racists against black folks.

      Maybe for you it's not enough that your feckless contempt for people be shown. Maybe they must be sneered at to be shown. That's how you're getting your lulz. It's the sneering.

      @AdelleChattre -

      Have no idea why you did not respond directly to that on the appropriate site instead of dragging it here. This submittal is "On Bullshit and the Oath of Office"..Do try and focus.

      The quote you cite applied directly to this election, and if you believe the outcome was based on racism, so be it.

      I don't subscribe.

      Most sincerely, do seek help.

      @MAGISTERLUDI -

      Reminds me of a story.

      There are these two young fish swimming along, and they happen to meet an older fish swimming the other way, who nods at them and says, “Morning, boys, how’s the water?” And the two young fish swim on for a bit, and then eventually one of them looks over at the other and goes, “What the hell is water?”

      You don’t see racism, like you don’t see bigotry or climate change denial or a lot of things. Not because they’re not there. Because those are the waters you swim in.
