Who was it who said: if we can't communicate with other intelligent life forms on earth, how are we ever going to be able to communicate with real aliens?
Where I live they are a pretty common food dish, from baby ones, right up to eating them live. I just can't bring myself to eat them. they remind me of little brains with legs and big sentient eyes.
I feel the same way. I also feel sad something so smart has such a short lifespan.
I think it has all of the above.
