I read the article, and I don’t think that’s what it’s about at all. You should try it.

" And then, building tools that won't just inform people about what's wrong in our society, but help them with how to fix it."

Leaves "journalists" not only to give us our values, but to execute "their" remedies. It's just doubling down.

It'd seemed to me that being the news rather than reporting the news was a bold proposal for this piece. That certainly was the core idea at the outset of progressivism. Or, as you might call it, 'Stalinism.'

Dairy laws, building codes, housing laws, child labor laws, minimum wage laws, workplace safety laws, food safety laws, antitrust laws, all of these had to be fought for. The muckraking press was where and how and why those things were won.

Daresay we could use some of that grit now.

          Have fun arguing your "attributions".

Okay. I’m curious. For whom, if anyone, did you first vote for president? (I’m guessing it might’ve been Bobby.)

I wasn't able to vote until 1972, one year after the voting age reduction, otherwise it would've been 1968.

Who I voted for then or since is none of your or anyone else's beeswax.

When you ask "For whom, if anyone, did you first vote for president?",

            for us "oldschoolers",

            That's "prying"

Sorry to’ve offended you. I can respect whatever your reasons are for keeping that private. I’m not especially proud of my first vote in a presidential election either.

"either",....Just more of your same, "attributions".

I guess I hadn’t accounted for the possibility that you are especially proud of your first vote for president but still keeping it to yourself all the same. Let’s never speak of this again. Personally, I think he was framed anyway.

" I think he was framed", seems you've overlooked McGovern, and a few other minor candidates in your usual "attribution".

            LOL
