    I don't mind editorializing. Having an opinion and showing bias doesn't prevent someone from making a logical argument. The problem with Salon is they are just dumb. Bad writing, bad logic, bad arguments. Even when I agree with the point they are making (which is often, I'm way to the left), I can't rely on them as a source because they say too many stupid things.

      You could distinguish between the different writers, from Joan Walsh to Lindsay Abrams to David Dayen to whomever-else. They're not all what you say above.

        That's completely true. The problem for me is the overall quality of the site does reflect on all the writers. The comments in this post are an example of what happens when I try to use a Salon article as a source to make a point.

        And really, I prefer to spend time with sites who I have more respect for their editorial staff and vision. Just my opinion, so I will admit my words were a bit harsh in the first post. As someone who used to read salon on a daily basis, I guess feel like they almost let me down.
