I can understand Cruz and Rubio both staying in, trying to lock up the Anti-Trump slot. I can even understand Kasich staying in, with his home state coming up in a few weeks, hoping a strong showing will drive some momentum his way. But for the life of me, I can't figure out what in the hell Ben Carson is still doing in this race. Not only is there no chance for any improvement in his numbers, but he has squandered any political capital that he gained with his campaign by staying in this long as screwing the Party.
He could've gotten himself a prime slot at the convention, he would've been at the top of anyone's shortlist for HHS Secretary, and there would've been real discussion about having him as a potential VP, but now he's effectively killed all that. He's either getting terrible advice (possible), or he's not listening to the advice he's being given (much more likely).
