Since pretty much nobody with an education and common sense wants to do politics anymore, the sociopaths, the thieves and the clowns have taken over. The problem is that they wield real power, and just like the Brexit vote that people gave "to make a point", they are going to end up destroying their country. And by the looks of it, they will be happy when it happens.
I agree with you. It's just getting worse and worse.
