    “Sincere apologies to an American hero, Tammy Duckworth, and gratitude for her family's service,” Kirk wrote.

    That's a refreshing change. I honestly expected Kirk to either try his hand at a non-apology or double down. I'm guessing he realizes just how much trouble he's in.
