It really does seem that Trump has put the fire under voters with regards to politics. I know many people that previously were not especially politically minded that are now taking a strong interest in politics because of this presidency.

Good. There's a shockingly large number of pro-self harm communities on social media, and it's unethical to allow these communities to exist.

I'm impressed by the strong stance the CEO seems to be taking on the issue, even mentioning the possibility of resigning if he hasn't diminished the amount of self harm images on the site in 6 months.

Hopefully he's being honest about his plan to take action, and if he is, hopefully other social media heads follow suit.

She's not trying to push these things through with her force of will, she's trying to motivate voters to choose representatives that will support these very obvious solutions with her.

UBI has always seemed like an inevitability to me. At some point technology is going to replace so many jobs that we'll have more people than we need to do them all. Either we institute a UBI system slowly now or we do it chaotically in the future.

The concept of a fiber cable detecting border crossings seems promising, but the article assumes that the motivation for a wall is based on what would be most effective at keeping immigrants out, which couldn't be farther from the case.

Trump doesn't want tighter border security, he wants a monument to his image that will last forever. It's why he can't talk about it for two sentences without mentioning how "HUGE" and "TREMENDOUS" it's going to be, and it's why he will never consider anything else as an option, he's only pushing the wall to stroke his own ego.
