I took over /t/mud today because the mod had been inactive for over 3 months. drunkenninja's message to me was: "Anytime you find a tribe that has a chief that is inactive for 3+ months, you can email support@snapzu.com and John there will renounce the tribe for ya. If the chief has been active, but not really too active in the tribe, you can PM them to let them know you're interested in running the tribe, or maybe even being a mod there for a while."
That I did, and my GF sourced a copy of Dune from one of our stores. Turns out the copy of Dune we had wasn't totally destroyed, it was Magician that's spine was inside out. Now we have two copies of Dune and going to read at the same time.
I'd hate to tread on ones toes... I'll submit a request or even just get added as a mod or something.

Yeah submitted a request thanks. If ever the original chief comes back, more than willing to step down.
