Jealousy. I am not a possession and I will never treat you like one. If you get upset because you think I'm looking at someone else or because I talked to someone else then you will create a self-fulfilling prophecy as I go find someone else who will treat me more like a person than a pet.
Jealousy tells me you don't trust me, and that you think you have the right to censor me. I'm willing to discuss boundaries and work out a compromise but treating me with jealousy doesn't flatter my ego. It just makes me walk away.

There's a pretty huge difference between jealousy and possessiveness/paranoia.

Jealousy is a feeling, not an action. It's like saying you won't date someone who feels anger just because some people don't handle it well.
