Russia Is Constructing An Arctic Stronghold 30 Miles From The Finnish Border
Russia has started moving troops towards a new military installation that's 31 miles from the Finnish border, Damien Sharkov Newsweek reports citing a press statement from Russian admiral Vladimir Korolev. As of Jan. 13, approximately 800 servicemen from Russia's Northern Fleet had been stationed in the Russian town of Alakurtti, in the Murmansk region. Alakurtti is due to become one of Russia's key strongholds in its quest to fortify its position and influence over the Arctic region.

Putin is getting ready for war. I don't know what this man is thinking but it's clear that he does not have peace in mind. Moreso, it's obvious that defence is not an angle, offence is. War for territory serves no purpose. It's going to get a lot of Russians and Europeans killed.
Definitely seems like it. But is he that stupid?
Let's hope not.
He certainly isn't stupid but he has incredible power, he is a warmonger (he worked for the KGB before his presidency) and he knows very well that in the end, power is what truly governs all. At the end of the day, he has all the advantages of moving first: the countless economic ties with countries all over the world (which always put profit first and values, second) and the second strongest military force in the whole world.
