Toddler loses eyeball after errant drone slices it in half
A British toddler recently had his right eye sliced in half by a neighbor’s drone, which resulted in the removal of his eyeball. He will eventually be fitted with a prosthetic. According to BBC Watchdog, Oscar Webb was just 16 months old at the time of the accident. On the bright side, 16 months is very young. He probably won't remember the trauma or what it's like to have two eyes, and since cosmetically they're predicting he'll turn out fine, he most likely won't have much trouble at all growing up.
I do feel bad for the neighbor, though. What an awful way for a passion to be killed.
