10 Reasons a Self-Hosted WordPress Blog is the Best

Looking to start a new blog? The quickest way is to use a hosted solution like WordPress.com or Blogger. But although these platforms are OK for beginners, they are also extremely limited and throw up many issues. To be completely honest, I don’t really like hosted solutions because they are a walled garden and allow little room for customisation and expansion. Want to run Google AdSense on a free WordPress.com blog? You can’t. What about uploading that cool new plugin you just found? Nope, it’s not supported. And don’t get me started on the problem of account suspension!
