Showing my creative side - some of my finished pieces.

I've been stitching for quite some time - my earliest memory going back to when I was about 6 or 7. Love the craft (it's one of many I participate in!), as it relaxes me and keeps my creative side busy. I create custom patterns, find ones I love on etsy and Spritestitch, or find kits in my local craft store. I make for myself, and often for friends.

Thanks so much! As much as I hate how commercial the Minions are, they sure are fun to stitch. Especially as they were a gift for a friend. Shaun the Sheep was a screen cap from the television show - my fiancé and I had paused it at that moment because we were a little. . . distracted. . . We thought it was so hilarious that the sheep's facial expression matched the moment, and I decided I HAD to stitch it.

Looking back its really interesting where my inspiration comes from.

      Thanks again!

That is hilarious! I love how everything handmade has a memory or story attached to it from the creator. Awesome! Also, you're very welcome...thank you for sharing!

      Thanks so much!

I made them a few months into my new relationship with my now fiance - I loved him so much and had to show him through stitches! It now sits on his desk - he loved it too.

That's lovely! I made this for my husband last year. Both big Monty python fans and his name is Tim. Also sits on his desk :)

Wow - that's great! Love, love, love Monty Python. I'm hoping to do a pattern for the Grenade of Antioch rules - that was my favourite bit of the movie.
