Saudi Arabia literally crucified a man in Mecca while aggressively calling out Canada over human rights
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia executed a man by crucifixion in the holy city of Mecca on Wednesday amid waging a public-relations battle with Canada over human rights. The man, Elias Abulkalaam Jamaleddeen, was accused of murder, theft, and attempted rape, according to Bloomberg. Saudi Arabia, ruled by its interpretation of Islamic law, rarely carries out crucifixions, but capital punishment remains common.

Goodness.. they're not barbarians! The criminal is beheaded first then crucified for up to 3 days as a warning.

But more questions! So .... which bit do they crucify? The headless body or the bodyless head, or both?
As a warning? "Don't criticise the government again or things will not go well for you!"
They put the head in a bag, tie it to the body and hoist them up together. This is reserved for the worst of the worst, like horrific murders, not political prisoners.
