I just don't know enough about genetics to know if his argument holds up. On the other hand the reaction of the Chinese government seems to indicate they have something to hide.
This was an amazing read as I had no idea humans could do this sort of thing. That being said,I also don't think we will ever know the whole story. Will it happen again and be worse? Most likely.
I suspect we will never know. The one thing that is certain is that there are hidden agendas at play. If it had nothing to hide, why has the Chinese government been so secretive. If it had nothing to hide, it would throw the doors open to make sure everybody knew it had nothing to hide.
