Police: Dallas child dies in hot car while parents nap
Dallas police are investigating the death of a two-year-old child who was allegedly left behind in a family car on Friday. According to Child Abuse Unit investigators, the parents of two-year-old Nariyah Raufu explained they had returned from a day at Fair Park with their children and went inside their duplex in the 11900 block of Garden Terrace Drive on Friday afternoon to take a nap.

Can these people not count? You should know whether all your kids are out of the car. If you put 3 in, you need to take three out. And honestly, they just assumed that the other kids grabbed the baby.
As much I as don't like treating these as criminal cases, it happens far too often. Maybe seeing other parents get jail time for baking their own kids will make people be more careful.
