Questions for Windows Phone Users

What kind of Windows Phone do you have? (I have a Samsung Ativ SE)

Which version of the OS does it run? (8.1 Update 1)

Do you like it? Why or why not? (I love it, but I'm sure I'll talk about this more with you in the comments)

Are you excited for Windows 10 Moble? (YES! :D)

Will you be grabbing a W10M phone when they debut this fall? (DOUBLE YES!!)

Just curious where the community stands on some of these things, I'll use some of the answers to help tailor some of the content on here as new things arrive late summer/early fall. Thanks for being a part of the community everybody!

I am using the Lumia 1020 and I like it a lot. The picture quality is stunning (it's the main reason I got the phone). I love the OS, I don't mind the app situation so much since I don't use too many anyways. The only thing that bugs me about WindowsPhone is just how much better the OS is in the USA than anywhere else. Cortana in Canada is genuinely a lot worse than Cortana is in the US. Hopefully that'll be fixed in time, but so far no luck.

When I got the Ativ SE I was seriously considering a 1020 as well. I'm glad you are enjoying it. The lack of apps never really bothered me either, the gap is small at this point and the ones missing like snapchat I don't really care about enough to change OSes. I wish you luck with better Canada support. I know they are making a myriad of updates and fixes to Cortana as they continue to improve W10Mobile so I'd say it's most likely you'll notice dramatic improvement upon it's public release.

I have an HTC One m8 running 8.1. I love the phone, I got it recently, and am very excited for Windows 10. Mostly because there is the prospect of being able to run apps that are on Android and IOS. While the app selection isn't terrible for WP, it certainly leaves a lot to be desired.

Mobile Insider Build 10166 was introduced today, might be time to think about an upgrade! :D The report on Microsoft's blog has a lot of good news to report as far as bug smashing, there's a link to it at the top of this tribe! If you decide to upgrade let me know what you think. Thanks for the response!
