I've been using it for months, and I love it, can't wait for full release. Ofc, when I installed it, it was a new machine. I'd take /VoyagerXyX advice, and do a fresh install. I mostly game, and I've had no huge issues.

You don't want to do a fresh install by mistake and lose all of your data.

This is what /u/VoyagerXyX said. Did you read it properly?

No, clearly not. In fact I somehow gleaned the exact opposite of what they said. Well, in my experience, installing a new OS is best with a fresh install, least bugs, driver issues, etc

A fresh install is definitely the way to go to keep issues and bugs at bay but not recommended if you're looking to keep your data. If you're feeling brave enough to do a fresh install just make sure you back up your data first and perhaps make a list of programs you'd like to reinstall. /u/Autumnal 's advice is sharp though, installing a fresh copy can avoid issues down the line.

The short answer at this point: No.

You're joining the Insider Program at the very end of Windows 10's beta cycle. What you'll receive is an immensely polished, beautiful, 99% bug free version of Microsoft's newest operating system. That said some things you may want to look out for, make sure your system meets the minimum system requirements, make certain you do an UPGRADE installation, rather than a custom if you intend to keep your files and programs. You don't want to do a fresh install by mistake and lose all of your data. Read EVERYTHING because the Windows 10 installer will prompt you with this choice. Also, be sure you've backed everything up JUST INCASE you do run into an issue (very rare at this point) Wish you the best of luck. If you need further guidance ask here or consult the STICKY I've posted with all the information you need to upgrade to Windows 10.
