Voat - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Voat /ˈvoʊt/ is an alternative to Reddit with a focus on free expression. Voat is aesthetically and functionally similar to Reddit. The website is a collection of entries submitted by its registered users to themed categories called subverses, in what is essentially a bulletin board system. However, the two websites do have differences. Voat limits how many subverses of the site a single user can moderate. Voat also has a night-mode (see cover image)

voat.co is currently invite only
Sure, it could be because of all of the DDoS'ing, but I prefer to think of them trying to imitate Snapzu. I doubt I'll get much takers, but if anyone wants an invite, let me know.
