One man was shot dead by French police on Sunday in Marseille's main station after attacking people with a knife, local media reported. Two victims were stabbed to death in the attack, Le Parisien and news agency Agence France-Presse reported, citing local officials. The man shouted "Allahu Akbar" before being shot dead by security forces, La Provence and Reuters reported. French police said it was a likely terror attack, Reuters reported. Anti terror police said they were opening a probe.

Police say Nathan Marshall, 28, admitted to fatally punching a San Antonio man over a slice of pizza, court documents filed Thursday showed. The assault occurred around 2 a.m. Sunday and resulted in the death of 33-year-old Air Force veteran Marques Johnson. “Marshall stated that (Johnson) smashed pizza out of a white male’s hands,” the detectives wrote in the affidavit supporting the Marshall’s arrest warrant. “Marshall stated (Johnson) came back and so he sucker punched (Johnson)... one time and (Johnson) fell down.”

A teenager from Conway, Arkansas thought it would be “thug” to put on a pair of brass knuckles, quietly walk up behind a boy three-fourths his age and sucker punch him in the side of the head. With the video running, the teen did exactly that. He knocked the younger 12-year-old boy to the ground.

A Kurdish Iraqi man armed with an M16 automatic rifle opened fire in a packed nightclub in southern Germany early Sunday after a dispute there, killing a bouncer and wounding four people before being shot by police. The 34-year-old attacker "was critically injured in a shootout with police officers as he left the disco, and later succumbed to his wounds in hospital," police said in a statement. "Nothing suggest that there could have been an Islamist or terror background" to the attack at the club, said prosecutor Johannes-Georg Roth.
