Lets reminisce about the best show ever. LOST!
I got into this show in the middle of season 1 and was hooked. I loved the characters and I loved the formula.
I am not trying to get idea's for a new show because I don't have the time to invest in a new show to tell the truth. I am just wanting to talk about LOST. Alot of people talk about the ending and maybe it was good that when it played I was finding my way back to God (different story for a different day) and I loved the ending. I had to explain it to everyone cause trust me when I get hooked on something I get everyone hooked on it as well, but they loved most of it.
I know the writers had a general idea about where they were going even though a lot of it was made up and you can tell through out the series. But as a formula based show it was just something that I haven't seen replicated as of yet.
Of course I haven't given anything the benefit of watching it either.

I've watched the entire series 3 times now, and I was thinking the other day of starting a rewatch. The show is just so good, and I'm one of the (seemingly rare) fans who even loves the last season and the ending.
Watching Charlie playing Wonderwall in the rain can still make me tear up, to this day, no matter how many times I watch it.
So many emotional shots in this show. One that gets me is the last scene with Jack and Vincent.. Man the feels in that.
This show is amazing and holds a special place in my heart. Me and my now fiancee then girlfriend started watching this together back when we were 16, always on the phone during the ad breaks to talk about what we had just watched and to explain anything we didn't get to each other. It was also the first time I'd ever got into watching a show where I had to wait a week between episodes. Definitely got me hooked onto the whole idea, LOST was my gateway drug for TV shows! I was so hooked on this show I wouldn't shut up about it to the point all my friends ended up watching it to, and of course getting just as hooked. I definitely need to do a re-watch, might have to speak to the mrs and see if she's up for it.
If not, I will fly over there and watch it with you! I think that would be wise do a recap and than get all giddy! We could watch 6 seasons at 42 minutes each in about 5 days and 41 minutes. Definitely something to think about.
I'm planning to re-watch it now that it's been many years since it finished. I just hope I don't remember too many little details since I remember the main storyline.
