British actor William Morgan Sheppard has died at the age of 86. The star of Star Trek, Dr Who and Mad Men died on Sunday January 6 in Los Angeles, California. He leaves behind an actor son Mark Sheppard, with who he starred in several productions, including the TV series NCIS and Doctor Who's The Impossible Astronaut, where they played different aged versions of the same character.

‘Star Trek: Discovery’ Renewed for Season 2 by CBS All Access
“Star Trek: Discovery” has been renewed for a second season by CBS All Access. The new installment of a decades-favorite franchise premiered at the end of Sept. on CBS Television Network’s digital subscription streaming service, breaking their single-day record for new subscriber sign-ups. The series also broadcasted its first episode on the Eye, to the tune of 9.6 million viewers and a 1.9 in the coveted 18-49 demo.
