A personal journey, a trip I took with 2 good friends.

The captivating scenes are caused by a bloom in bioluminescent algae.

Years of practice have made Paul Marcellini one of the state's best landscape photographers.

The trip began in Punta Arenas, the capital of Magallanes region, Chile. We had spent three days aboard the Arctic Sunrise, a Greenpeace ship docked in one of the city’s harbours, to test our equipment and conduct security drills. I was eager to get to Antarctica.

These photographs are so detailed, they look like paintings.

I was on a trip today where I found these floatinghearts. In the area are also wine ranks so I was thinking about France and Monet which inspired me to do something artistic with the photo - this is the result. I hope you like it :-)

I feel quite nostalgic about this place. I was married at the inn related to the castle and we often take a walk in the park. As a consequence I have many photos from the place and many memories.
