Let me be the first to welcome you all to /t/Republicans!

My vision for this tribe, is fairly simple: To have a place for people to discuss Republican issues in an environment that- both offers and demands, a higher level of debate than is usually found in political groups on the Internet. I want a place where people can come together and discuss the issues of the day, without having to wade through the mountains of nonsense that usually find their way into the group, and that derail intelligent discussion.

That said, I have absolutely no problem with people who disagree with the Republican Party posting their views here (in accordance with both Tribe and Site Rules); I disagree with the Republican Party fairly regularly and I am a Republican. Feel free to post differing opinions, so long as they're relevant, well-sourced, and offer something of value to the discussion.
