/t/blender, for anyone who is interested in the free, open source 3d modelling software that is Blender

As a lot of people, I'm new here and wanted to start a tribe for something I enjoy.

For those who don't know, Blender is a free and open source 3d modelling software started by the non-profit Blender Foundation. For anyone interested in 3d modelling, special effects, game design etc... it's a really fantastic bit of software that is comparable to other expensive options that are out there. It's used by professionals, but I would highly recommend anyone with a creative side to them to give it a go. Be warned, Blender has been said to have a steep learning curve, but is well worth the effort. Come and ask any questions about how to get started over at /t/blender
