[A] Movies/shorts similar to Don Hertzfeldt's works (but especially It's Such a Beautiful Day [2012] and World of Tomorrow [2015])
In a year I don't remember, I watched Hertzfeldt's Rejected Cartoons (or, at least, I remember it being called that; now, it seems to have been rebranded as simply Rejected). I enjoyed it for what it was (a black/surrealist comedy that blurs into the lines of anti-comedy, like Tim and Eric), but like all things, it eventually fell from my mind. Now, though, I recently re-discovered him through Letterboxd, as many people were giving glowing reviews to his new World of Tomorrow (I liked it, but I didn't react to it in the same way as those that loved it). This led me to his It's Such a Beautiful Day feature-length film (one lengthened from his original short film with the same concept). Unlike, this time, though, I loved it, and it had a much better execution that WoT.
To get to the point (and sorry if that was overly lengthy), are there any worthwhile movies with a similar tone or animation style such as his?
