Getting the hang of things

I like what I see. I appreciate the community. Sweet new options.

I know coming in as a newbie, that just lurking and trying to figure things out is a responsibility on my part. I also know that this is not Reddit.

I only hope that everything stays the way it is. I also hope that the bad element stays where it is or goes over the that "other place"

I don't want this to seem all about Reddit, all the time, but please remember there are lots of new users that have just left a nasty marriage. A dysfunctional marriage... They're going to talk about their ex and also talk about their ex in a poor light.

That all being said. My only request to Reddit defectors is :

Remember where you came from. This is a community, multiple communities... Treat it and the others with respect. We are being welcomed into their home, not invading their home. I appreciate the welcoming I have gotten and don't want anything to change around here, it seems nice. Granted, things are going to evolve over time, that is inevitable... But don't lose sight of the community. As a Redditor, you know that trolls and jerks come into your sub and raise trouble or don't understand it at first can be frustrating...

Let's all remember this moving forward...

It's all about community, their community.. It may be new to us, but that doesn't make it brand new.. Let's all be respectful and enjoy the ride...

Luckily I haven't seen or heard any trolls or jerks, I sure hope it stays like that...

Thank you Snapzu community :-)

I am still learning the ropes here too. And, so far I haven't seen many trolls come here. Maybe the leveling up system is actually working a deterrent.

I appreciate the community as a whole for accepting us newbies. Hope we aren't overstaying our welcome.
