PC Enthusiast Here

Greetings! I woke up today and was very excited to see my code finally come in after submitting 2 weeks ago after the the reddit excursion to different sites. I really like this setup and look forward to our future discussions.

Introducing myself; I came from reddit, but would not call myself a redditor. I was more of a lurker, as any dissenting opinion would usually get torn to shreds by the hivemind, to the point where I felt as many other had; that there was an echo chamber going on in a lot of discussions whilst never really moving forward.

Anyway, I'm here! I love PC Gaming, and everything around it. I built my first PC (win95) at 6 years old. My dad being a programmer, I messed around with Python and Assembly at an early age, but lost interest soon after. I turned straight to video gaming which further instilled my love for my main hobby right now. Modding. I have over 300 games on my PC and ~75% of them are modded.

I will be joining the PC Gaming, Building, and Modding tribes as my main watering hole here. Please shoot me a a message if you have any questions for above, and if somebody can shoot me in the right direction for some of the lesser known tribes, it would be greatly appreciated. Please understand I won't be posting snaps until I get a hang of the site and it's community. The last thing I want is to contribute to this site turning into reddit.

I've only one question for the community. What is the general opinion of pirated software here on Snapzu? (not hosted, but merely discussion of)

EDIT: Is there a modding community here? I can't seem to find it.

Well, there was recently a rather hefty discussion on the old "is piracy theft" thing, if that's what you're looking for. I'm not sure about the feelings of discussing actually pirating software and possible means of doing that, considering the legality of such things is dubious (though varying between countries).

Welcome Zormzor! I'm sure that sharing links to pirated software is against the rules, but I don't think talking about it is, as to talk about software (even pirated) is not illegal just like talking about drugs isn't illegal.

Was never considering sharing links. That, of course is obviously a no-no. I was hoping to just to garner the community's opinion on it in general.
