This ^^^. I started tribes knowing that they will eventually grow. DallasCowboys, thats a sure thing, DallasMavericks a sure thing, and of course Superman as the time gets closer. But all I can do is cross promote with the links in movies and dc comics and sports. I don't really care how fast they grow cause I know it will happen.
There's a few tribes that I'd love to help start up, but don't really want to lead. I started /t/Yugioh and I wanna focus my efforts there. We'll build this place up in due time!
The pyramids weren't built in a day. It is going to take a lot of effort and genuine interest on our part to build a solid community in any sub. Everything good takes time, but eventually it will happen.
I'm actually a bit excited to see I'm starting out on a site that has so much potential to grow. It serves as a great motivator for me to start posting some snaps of my own and bring some activity to tribes that I'm interested in.
I started 3 tribes, but they will have a very specific user base so will stay very small. I would like to see a "nosleep" style tribe, but I don't have time to head that up.

Instead of posting here, post in the tribes that are struggling and help get them active.
Additionally, if you end up talking to users that share an interest, be sure to direct them to the relevant tribe!

Looks like someone finally did get around to creating /t/nosleep. Not very active yet (read: at all) but hey, it exists!
My tribe has been R.I.P Might do some promotion on my soundcloud and YouTube eventually if snapzu gets big enough.
