An Introduction from a Reddit Defector!

Well, I didn't really defect from Reddit, but with all the site politics going on, I thought I'd like to check out Snapzu :) The site is a little hard for me to navigate right now, but I'm sure I'll get used to it as I use it more. A little personal goal I've set for joining this site is to participate more in discussion! I've always been somewhat of a lurker on Reddit, but I want to engage the Snapzu community more. In any case, hello to all of you and I hope to enjoy the community here!

I will vouch for the fact that Snapzu quickly becomes much easier to use, and once you know how to take advantage of the depth of its functionality, it's hard to go back to other sites!

Two great ways to increase your participation are to go find tribes you're interested in and talk - a lot of tribes are smaller and so welcoming of participation. The second way is to sort your front page by "Newest" instead of "Trending" and participate in threads as they pop up. The people posting those threads will appreciate the feedback (since no one likes their snaps or posts to go ignored) and you'll quickly learn about all sorts of interesting parts of Snapzu.

Welcome to Snapzu. You and I are alike. We both came from Reddit, but haven't really defected. Anyway, enjoy your stay!
