Hi! What are your favorite tribes?

My friend LacquerCritic got me onto Snapzu. I joined in hopes of cyberbullying her into deleting her account. Just kidding! But if you see me ostensibly picking on her, please understand that she it makes her cackle when I'm fake-rude to her. Additionally, I would like Freida Pinto to play me in the Lifetime Original movie that will be made once I succeed in cyberbullying her into quitting Snapzu: "Snapped to Pieces: The RobotPenis story".

I tend to observe more than post on sites because I never really know how to contribute. I hope that's okay here. I'll be sure to upvote/follow people and try to comment more... I'm usually wary to comment on online forums because I don't like interacting with combative people. It seems like Snapzu might be fostering an environment that's more about discussions than arguments and insults, though; I would love to a part of a community like that.

I've subscribed to some tribes off of the main list already, but I was hoping for some recommendations for interesting tribes that aren't listed. What are your favorites (or the ones you've started)?

Thanks!

"Snapped to Pieces: The RobotPenis story".

Sounds like the story of a dildo that was savagely beaten for running out of batteries at the most important moment.

Thanks for pointing that out! I didn't realize how vulgar that could skew. How about "Cyber Intrusion: The RobotPenis story"?

Oh my god, I was so excited to see your first text post, and then I saw my username. Thank you for information the community at large about my Stockholm syndrome.

As for tribes, I like /t/asksnapzu (because I like the sound of my own voice, even in text form), /t/music for playing stuff in the background while I'm farting around, and I like following /u/BlueOracle and /u/AdelleChattre because they both seem to post a lot of really interesting links in a variety of tribes.

      I will destroy you.

Also, I've followed 3 people so far (including you, unfortunately), but I noticed that my account follows 15 people that I don't recognize. Do you know how/why that happens?

When anyone first joins Snapzu has you automatically follow a bunch of users who have been very active in the site and who are pretty much all universally helpful. It's basically just to give new users a starting point. Some of them (drunkenninja, gladsdotter) are website admins, usually identified by their red username when they comment. You can unfollow any or all of them, of course.

These are some really great suggestions. My list of follows is growing daily.

On a related note, is there anyway to browse all tribes (and not just the most popular)? I've looked and looked but if there's a way to do so, I've clearly overlooked it. :)

As a new user, I feel so much peace when I'm here. What a tremendous community. I find myself happy and calm when browsing here.

Sorry, I'm new too. I don't think there's a way to browse all tribes. I've actually found it really frustrating because it's not addressed in the FAQ under Tribes. That's why I asked the question in my intro post; I'd like to find more tribes that interest me but I don't know how.

/t/leagueoflegends even though it's not that active. I also like /t/asksnapzu and other then that I just look at the comments or read the articles on the front page. I also started my own tribe about asking fitness questions although I'm the only one in it right now lol.

/t/fitnessquestions lol being a noob at working out I probably won't be able to answer any questions right now but hopefully more users will join and eventually solve that problem!
