I really like the modules feature when you post.
Its really good. You can easily embed videos, images, galleries, links, and these things called lists which I don't know what they are yet. These functions have huge potential, it's basically a webpage that anyone can create. Anyway you guys should check it out if you have already.

It really adds an authentic feeling to the snaps. It upgrades them from just a link dump to a more interactive experience - and that's invaluable.

I'm having a heyday with the modules. Blatantly tooting my own horn here, but in particular I love the way I was able to create a captioned gallery for this snap here while still giving a full link to the original site itself. It offers both convenience for those wanting to view the content inside the snap while giving credit. As well, in this snap here I could replicate an instagram post using the discussion and image modules for those like me who can't stand instagram. I feel like a kid who's in a candy store with all the options available.

One thing I would like, however, is control over how the resulting overall snap is displayed. For instance, having created this snap yesterday, I was a bit frustrated to see that the main element of it - the link - was timy in comparison to the supporting sections - the picture and the text. Even if you could just resize images/fonts that would be great - but the ideal thing would be if they were fully manipulable tiles you could scale and click together. drool
I was just thinking about this too. How cool would it be to set various grids and then drag and drop pictures, create pull quotes, etc. Pictures would then show up large like in a lightbox. That would be so sexy and VERY rewarding.
Yes, besides the fresh start feeling (I can still smell the new car smell on my account!), and the good vibes I get from the community, these features and the general design is impressive. I also like the link contributions. Finally no longer buried like in basically all other social news sites. Makes me wonder why it wasn't thought of before (= a sign of an unusually good feature).
