The layout gets better and better the more you use it. Snapzu's more than just a great layout - if you get a chance, take a look down at the bottom of the page and familiarize yourself with the Prologue, FAQs, etc. - there's a ton of useful information in them in regards to XP, leveling, site rules, etiquette, etc. Snapzu isn't just reddit with a better design - it's a different style of community altogether.
Same, I think it's a bit better, even. I like how this site has a lot of parts that are similar to other sites. I'm not sure I see myself using snapzines all that often, but I think it's a cool feature for people who prefer to browse that way. Or the ability to give status updates to followers, instead of posting to forums. I think it helps put everything you need into one website.
