A question to the snapzu community

Hello everyone, I am sirlag, someone looking to migrate away from reddit, and I had a few questions. While I have seen many of these posts in the lounge, I feel it is worth asking again, as the majority of them are a few months old, an opinions may have varied.

  1. First of all, what do you, the community of snapzu, feel that the site is about, and what direction do you, as the community, want to take it. From what it appears, the actual site design is beautiful, yet I am finding content lacking, and am a bit unsure of the general direction that I should be heading.

  2. Reddit, while being a news aggregator and link hub, also facilitated large discussions. While at this point it may be an issue of population, I feel that there are very few if any comments on posts, and that it is mostly just an empty site.

  3. Tribe discovery. While it may seem trivial, the categorization system may end up isolating newer tribes, forcing them to obscurity unless there is an easier way to find new tribes. Am I missing something?

  4. Is there an app? Alienblue on iOS is one of the best apps on the store in my opinion, and one of the best apps for reddit period. Is there a snapzu app for iOS that serves the same purpose?

It appears quieter than it is. A lot of people lurk. I find a lot of interesting things to read here.
