Hi all, I'm a new(ish) snapper from Reddit, where the sub /r/mechanicalkeyboards has around 50,000 subscribers. Mechanical keyboards are high quality keyboards that use individual switches, instead of a membrane that is pressed down on, used in most keyboards today. For example, the IBM Model M was produced over 20 years ago, but is still popular due to the loud, responsive feel that it's Buckling spring switches provide. /t/keyboards is not restricted to only mechanical keyboards, but that is it's main focus.
