What is Snapzu 'lingo' should new members know that will help them better assimilate to the community?

Like many others here, I'm a new member of the Snapzu community (coming from a previous long relationship with Reddit).

To the older members, I would like to ask: What are some terms often used here that I should know that will help me fit in with the website? Also, is it difficult to get familiar with the community?

After lurking for about a month and some, I like what I see and I can't wait to get to know this place better :)

Understanding what a tribe is, and how it differs from a subreddit is the single most important thing.

Well, dont leave us hanging. What's the difference? So far it seems pretty similar to me...

Well the main differences I've noticed (in my two days here): 1) you can post a snap in multiple tribes and they become sort of 'tags' in the snap, and 2) a snap is posted under your username--while a tribe chief (mod) can remove it from their tribe, they can't actually remove the snap itself. Small changes, but ones I really like.

Yeah, that's a small but pretty cool difference. I think it also minimizes reposting for points as the OP will probably post the snap into most relevant tribes. Makes for a healthier community. Although I'll miss the pitchfork emporium.... just one for nostalgias sake ---E
