Tribe visual & general recommendations

I've started working on my brand new tribe, but set that aside, the functionalities of what you can do to edit your tribe visually and generally are very limited. For example, you only get to pick the avatar of your tribe, and the banner of your tribe (as you level up).

I would like to see more functions including these: - Customization of the background - Movable logo (move it from the sidebar to the banner, etc.) - Custom CSS stylesheet stuff (even more choice) - More general settings (posts per page, etc.)

I think this is a good idea. Who agrees with me?

P.S. The images also look a little bit /not HD/ so that would also be nice to see fixed.

I completely agree. I think as the user base grows the functionalities will too.

RIght now, the snapzu team is focusing on getting servers up and running to handle to huge influx of users (they tripled their userbase in a day) Give it time, and they will doubtlessly incorporate more features.

Keep the suggestions coming-maybe SNAPZU will consider given its increase in users.

Hopefully as they scale we'll see some additional features.

Try heading over to /t/ideasforsnapzu/! I'm sure how much admins are watching it, given everything else going on, but I'm guessing they'll work through the recommendations there before going through /t/lounge...

I disagree. Just based off of Reddit's ability to modify your subreddit's CSS - it's a mess. You can make things hidden or deceitful. And every time the site would make a major update, the CSS would need to be updated unless you want a broken-looking tribe. Having only very small but personal things be able to be changed, like an avatar and a header banner, provides a much better and organized way to make tribes personal and yet still keep the site harmonious and good-looking.

I'd agree with is making the images be a better quality, it'd be cool to be able to direct link to header and avatar images from other sources, so then Snapzu wouldn't have to deal with uploading the files themselves and reducing quality.
