Getting followed by many new members

For a few days now I've been followed by many new accounts. I don't mind much, but I was curious as to what changed that I seem to have become a default followed member. I don't know if I'm that interesting. Or maybe it's because I've started a few tribes and contribute content in a few different languages...

Anyone has been followed by many new accounts as well?

    Yeah I get bursts of followers too here and there. It all depends on the tribes new users select when joining. If you post often in one of those tribes you will get auto followed. This gives new members a starting feed of tribes and users based on the interests they chose.

      Right, it makes sense. I figured it might be something like that, I was just curious about what factors influenced this. Thanks for the info!
