Just came from reddit and a few other sites, any advice?
This seems like the most polished site compared to all the others and Ive got a few questions.
1) Is there something on here similar to askreddit? I love to read all those interesting stories people post.
2) Does this site get updated regularly? I'd love to see something like empeopled poll option for posting.
3) Is there anything like gilding from reddit?
Sorry about to mention of reddit hope you guys aren't annoyed of all the recent people fromt here.

1) - /t/asksnapzu - Obviously not as big as askreddit, but is the functional equivalent.
2) - Do you mean like, is the site's core infrastructure or software updated or do people regularly post? For the first one I know with the influx of new users the admins are going into overdrive to upgrade servers and try to roll out an API for developers as quickly as they reasonably can, but beyond that, I don't know much.
3) - Not at this time. The admins are asking for donations to help cover server costs as up til now it has been entirely out of pocket for them. They've already blown past what they requested (a modest $370 or so) and any further contributions will go to covering next month's server costs.
I'm also relatively new but I think I can answer some of your questions:
1. I think /t/asksnapzu is what you are looking for.
2. From what I've heard around the site the developers are pretty involved with the community and open to feedback. I'm sure you will be able to find a thread where you can submit your feature suggestions.
3. I don't think there is.
I think there are a few threads in the lounge about/for people from Reddit, so you might wanna check them out.
Welcome to the community!
1)There is an AskSnapzu here. :)
2) Yes, they are constantly improving the site.
3)No, They don't have anything like gilding here.
