Good news everyone! Hiya!
I was internet born on the MSN Gaming Zone and ended up playing a looooooot of X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter and Jedi Knight over my terrible 14.4k modem. I then moved on to Ubersite, which was a fascinating little site. People could submit whatever they wanted (text posts/MS Paint images/anything!) and users would rate the item -2, -1, 0, +1 or +2. Ubersite still exists today, although it is basically a ghost town now.
I hung around Digg, and then reddit for years; recently I left reddit and tried Voat. I'm not the biggest fan of voat. Too much "We all know the Jews run the banks and the media" for me. The content here looks pretty darn interesting from what I see so far.
I don't post a lot of OC, but I do actively comment and upvote. So I'll see you all around!

Welcome! I'm very new, just a couple of months of lurking and a few days of contributing. This place might be the best place to "contribute" content versus most online formats due to the functionality (like a mini wordpress for each of your posts (or snaps)), and the obvious lack of extensive discussion. It's a small community, I count maybe 30 commenters/contributors over the 3 or 4 days I've been participating, but I hope it grows because this format is intuitive and awesome. The "feed" you can set up for yourself is quite unique and one of the best features of the site!
