Hi everyone!

I'm really exited about getting invite so I can now participate and not just lurk around. I've been using first Digg and then Reddit after the v4 was launched. I guess now it's time to move again.

Since this is introduction I'm gonna share little about me. I'm 31 year old sysadmin who lives in a small city in Finland. I like photography, traveling and geocaching. I guess all of these interests go well together. I do occasionally take some concert pictures but mainly street photographs and landscapes. My vacation just started and I'm going on a road trip around Europe. Hopefully I get lot of nice pictures and find great caches :)

What I'm looking from this site is to learn and share ideas about tech in general, coding (mainly Python) and hobbies I mentioned earlier. I know some of tribes related to these are bit small at the moment but I'll give my two cents on those. I hope there will be like-minded snappers(?) on this site.

Welcome! You should head over to /t/travel and submit some of your road trip pics when you have the time! Have a great time on your vacation.

Thanks, leaving in 10 hours. Now I need to get some sleep :)

Welcome! There seems to be a large influx of developers (I work in DevOps in Seattle, WA), so I'll go ahead and recommend /t/programming and /t/linux as tribes to jump on (if you haven't yet).

Looking forward to seeing some of those vacation pictures posted. :D

Thank you. I already joined /t/linux but was missing /t/programming. Been using linux since Red Hat 6.1 came out :D

I don't have any tightly planned schedule or even route on that road trip but I'll visit probably dozen countries. Leaving tomorrow on that trip.
