Introduce Yourself

Hi everyone,

I have a particular love for lionfish. However, they are highly invasive and will eat anything in sight. Their stomachs can stretch up to 30x its normal size. This is a big problem for our reefs. I would love for people to join to educate others about lionfish.

    Hello /t/lionfish,

I'm fascinated by all things fish. Lionfish are a gorgeous group of fish!

I think it is important for anyone interested in lionfish to know that there are several species of lionfish, which all belong to the genus Pterois. Two species, P. volitans and P. miles, have been introduced into the Caribbean, where they are considered highly invasive. I look forward to sharing and learning as this tribe grows. Also, feel free to submit lionfish related material to /t/fish.
