[Site Functionality] Is there really a necessity for a Save button when creating the title and intro of a snap?

An easy mistake that I keep making is that when there is the necessity to change the title or intro, I sometimes forget to hit the save button. When published, the article has the unchanged text instead. Hopefully it is just me that makes this mistake, but to avoid other new posters to make the mistake it would be nice if the Publish button would automatically consider the changes as final. Is there really a necessity for a Save button when creating the title and intro of a snap?

I believe a website should be consistent : either a save button everywhere or nowhere. It gets very confusing to remember if we should save our changes or if they're saved automatically. Where there is no save button, I usually look for one for 3 or 4 seconds before feeling confident my changes are kept.
